미국특허청 (USPTO) 수수료 변경(2014년 1월)

미국 특허청(USPTO)의 수수료가 변경되었습니다.
1. Patent Post-Allowance Fees (Large Entity/Small Entity/Micro Entity)
유틸리티특허 issue fee 는 $1,780/$890/$445 에서 $960/$480/$240 로 변경,
Reissue 특허 issue fee 는 $1,780/$890/$445 에서 $960/$480/$240 로 변경,
디자인특허 issue fee 는 $1,020/$510/$255 에서 $560/$280/$140 로 변경,
Plant 특허 issue fee 는 $1,400/$700/$350 에서 $760/$380/$190 로 변경되었습니다.
2. Publication fees for early, voluntary, or normal publication
기존 $300 => 무료로 변경
3. Patent Service Fees
기존 $40 => 전자출원의 경우 무료로 변경
4. PCT Fees – International Stage Fees (USPTO를 수리관청으로 하여 PCT출원을 진행)
International Stage fees에 대하여, 중소기업(Small Entity)는 50% 및 영세기업(Micro Entity)는 75% 감면
(예: Transmittal fee, Search fee, Supplemental Search fee, fee for Transmitting Application to International Bureau to act as Receiving Office, Preliminary Examination fees, Supplemental Examination fees, 및 Late Payment fee)
*Large Entity: 대기업, Small Entity: 중소기업, Micro Entity: 영세기업
